Overview

The Rate Deck feature in ASTPP serves as a mechanism to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of rate imports by associating country or call type information based on the prefixes of imported rates. This is particularly crucial for maintaining data consistency and reliability within the system.

Purpose

By allowing administrators to first import country code or area code specific entries under the Rate Deck, the system can intelligently match newly imported rate entries' prefixes with the Rate Deck entries. This dynamic association ensures that the imported rates are automatically assigned to the correct country or call type, streamlining the rate import process. This not only enhances data accuracy but also provides administrators with precise details, facilitating the formulation of informed decisions regarding plans and packages tailored for specific areas or countries.
