Added more controls for the admin in the product module

We are thrilled to announce a significant update to our product, focusing on providing enhanced controls and flexibility for administrators within the product module. In this release, we have added new fields and controls to empower admins/subadmins, ensuring a smoother and more tailored experience in managing products. 

Implementation:  

  • We have added two new subblocks in order settings block for package product.  

             (1) Customer Settings (2) Reseller Settings.

Customer Settings:- Customer related toggle switch buttons are added in the customer settings block with Yes and No option. There will be three fields:  

  1. Can customers of the admin place orders? 

  This field is specific to Admin customers. If the value is NO, Admin customers cannot purchase the product. Customers cannot see this product. If the value is YES, Admin customers can make the purchase. 

  1. Can Reseller's customer order? 

This field is specific to Reseller customers. If the value is NO, Reseller’s customer cannot purchase the product. Reseller’s customer cannot see this product. If the value is YES, Reseller customers can make the purchase. 

  1. Release if no balance.   

This setting will be applicable only to customers. What action should the system take if at the time of package renewal, a customer account does not have enough fund. YES: It will release the package from customer account if they does not have enough balance to renew this product NO: It will apply the changes to customer account without taking care of balance and renew the product. 

Reseller Settings: Reseller related toggle switch buttons are added in the reseller settings block with Yes and No option. There will be three fields: 

 

  1. Allow to opt-in & assign: -

It this field value is yes, then only reseller can optin and assign that product to his customers and if its value is no then reseller will not be able to assign that product to his customers. (Resellers must be able to optin the product first). 

  1. Display product under my products: - If the value is set to yes then only optin product will be displayed in my product page. If it's value is no then reseller's product will not display. 

NOTE: - We have removed can purchase and can resell fields from the package create/edit. 

  1. Display product under my products: -

If set to YES, the opt-in product will be displayed on the My Product page. If set to NO, the product will not be displayed for the reseller.

  • Navigate to the product module within the admin dashboard to access the expanded controls. 

  • Utilize the new settings to customize product details, configurations, and permissions based on your organizational needs.
