"Is Distributor" field in reseller, What does it mean?

There are 2 types of resellers in ASTPP. 

1. Distributor (Is Distributor = Yes)

2. Commission-based (Is Distributor = No)

• By default, both types of resellers have the same features access which means they are able to manage their own customers, resellers, tariff plans, products etc except package and subscription products. 

• The difference is one of package and subscription product ownership. While a commission-based reseller sells products on your behalf that you continue to own and invoice the ultimate customer for and gets the defined commission on product, whereas distributors take ownership of the product, add their profit margin and sell on to their own customers.

Here reseller can opt-in for the Package and Subscription product of Admin and can set his own sell cost. Open Distributor resellers can create their own Subscription products and sell them to their customers.	Here reseller can opt-in for the Package and Subscription product of Admin but cannot set his own sell cost.  Open
