    Overview

    A package in ASTPP is essentially a collection of minutes allocated for calls to specific destinations or a set of prefixes. It serves as an effective tool for administrators to enhance customer satisfaction. By tailoring packages to cater to particular destinations or prefixes, administrators can strategically attract new customers through targeted marketing campaigns. This flexibility in package design also enables administrators to retain existing customers by aligning service offerings with their usage patterns.

    Purpose

    The primary purpose of packages in ASTPP is to provide administrators with a versatile means of meeting customer needs. By creating packages tailored to specific destinations or prefixes, administrators can offer targeted and attractive services. This not only aids in customer acquisition but also ensures customer retention by delivering services aligned with individual usage preferences.     Note

    Import note : Suppose the package was made by admin for 7 days for an example, and it will terminate before 7 days then the charges will not refund and they can not use that package

    Product Category

    To defined product type please select the appropriate product category. Packages is a default category for all.

    Name

    Name of package want to create.

    Country

    Select the country so it will help to users for product identification when they are looking for specific product for specific country.

    Description

    Description for the package.

    Buy Cost

    Define the buy cost for the reseller or other entity.

    Buy Cost is product purchase price with out TAX. so when customer or reseller will order this product at that time the TAX amount will be applicable additionally.

    Can be purchased

    Select if customer can purchase this product or not. If yes than each customer can purchase it. If no than no customer see this package. Than this package is for particular customer that admin can only assign to that particular customer.

    This option use to create personalized packages. If option set with “NO” then it will not listed to reseller and customer portal for the purchase or available packages but as a admin can assign this product to their customers from the admin panel.

    Status

    Select the status for the package active or inactive.

    Reseller can resell

    Define yes if reseller can resell it or no if admin create the package for his own purpose than reseller is unable to purchase the created package.

    If Admin wants to create personalised package then needs to set reseller cal resell product “NO” so those product will not listed to reseller portal for the reselling purpose. This personalized product will be listed under the admin account so they can assign it to their customer manually.

    Commission(%)

    Commission is defined by admin, if reseller resell the admin package then what amount of commission needs to offer them it will be define here.

    Setup Fee

    Setup fee for the package.

    Setup Fee is one time cost will be applicable to users at the first time when they will place order.

    Price

    Price for the package excluded TAX. Please make sure it can be recurring based on the Billing Type you have selected.

    Billing Type

    Select the billing type, if one time than the package will be assigned one time than terminate and if recurring is select than the package will renew as the billing days is defined.


    One Time

    “One Time” package will not be renew automatically. it will be released after the defined days.


    Recurring

    Package will be renewed automatically based on the defined days with respect to order date.


    Monthly

    Monthly package will be renewed automatically by monthly with respect to order date.

    Billing Days

    Total availability time for that package. customer can use this service for the defined days then it will be either renewed or it will be terminated.

    Rate Group

    Select the rate group of customer.

    Apply to Existing Customer

    Charge Type

    In the case of a customer requesting premature termination of a package, how should the applicable charges and refund be handled?

    Charge Full Amount

    No refund at any stage, the full package charges be applicable

    Based On Utilized Days

    System will consider the usage of customer by days, meaning if the package is of 28 days is terminated after 7 days, 3/4 of amount will be refunded as available balance to customer account

    Based On Utilized Free Minutes

    System will consider the usage of customer by free minutes, meaning if the package is of 100 minutes and terminated after usage of 50 minutes, half of the package amount will be refunded as available balance to customer account

    Based on Utilized Highest Days/Free Minutes

    Based whichever is highest from above two options will be applicable as chage of package and remaining will be refunded as available balance to customer account

    To add prefixes under the specific packages is very hard job. to make it more easy we have added few type of filter option which make your task easy.

    Rate Group

    You can filter available prefixes by selecting Rate Group. it will help to find prefixes easily.

    Country

    Select the country to filter the rates according to the selected country.

    Call Type

    Select the call type to filter the rates according to selected code.

    Code

    Filter the rates using code (Prefix).

    Destination

    Filter the rates using destination.
