Purpose

  • Based on caller ID we can manage DID routes.

  • CallerID-based DID assignment, account authentication, and billing

Where to find Inbound Routes?

Get Addons → Enterprise → Inbound Routes

Once we install the new menu Inbound Routes will be added under the Inbound menu.

Add Inbound Routes

  • We can sync multiple Caller IDs to the Same DID and the same caller ID to multiple DID
NameDescription
ResellerSelect Admin or reseller account.
AccountSelect the account number which is available under the Admin or Reseller.
Caller IDAdd caller id.
DIDsSelect the DID number from the account.
Call TypeSelect the call type for the forwarding.
DestinationSet the destination number from that account.

We can see that caller ID 1234554321 has been added to the sip device.

We have bind Caller IDs with DID numbers, so whenever a call comes with 1234554321 this Caller ID call will route to a defined destination in Inbound routes instead of the original DID destination.

The original DID configuration you can see in the below screenshot.

Now when we call DID-23456782 it will route as per the caller ID and the call will land on the destination (6125032701) which is defined in inbound routes.
