A conference call is a telephone call in which someone talks to several people at the same time. The conference calls may be designed to allow the called party to participate during the call, or the call may be set up so that the called party merely listens into the call and cannot speak.

Fields

Description

Name

Set conference unique name

GreetingSelect conference welcome greeting . Under the inbound menu the prompt, you can add a greeting by adding a .wav file.

Pin Number

Set conference pin number for security .This pin will use while you join the conference.

Description

Describe more information about conference

AccountSelect the account for which you want to assign. It can be either the admin or reseller
ResellerSelect approprite account wether it is Admin on Resellser account
Type

Select Manual or Schedule .
Manual : You can set a direct conference without specifying a time

Schedule : You can set the time and date for conference

Contact GroupCreate contact group under the Inbound menu and add it here
ReminderIt is use to send reminder for conference

Status

Create contact group for conference by adding approprite filed as mentioned in below screenshot.

You can generate the greetings that will be used during the conference.


Now, We requires one DID which will use in conference call. So let's create the DID by followin below steps.

Menu Location

Inbound →   DID → Create DID

Admin can create DIDs manually from the admin panel with the respective fields and those DIDs  reseller or customer can add it on their account.


Product Category

Select the category DID.By default the package will selected.

DID

Number to create DID.

Provider

Select the provider for the DID.

Country

Select the country for which country the DID is created.

Buy Cost

Define the buy cost for the reseller or other entity.

City

City for the which DID is creating.

Province

Province for the which DID is creating.

Status

Select the status for the DID active or inactive.

Connection Cost

Connection fee to charge customer minimum when their call will be connected

Grace Time (Sec.)

Define seconds will be free from the call duration for each call

Cost/Min

Cost per minute

Initial Increment


Increment

Rate of increment to calculate call cost.Example : 60 to charge every minute

Setup Fee

Setup fee for theDID.

DID Fee

Monthly cost for the DID.

Call Timeout (Sec.)

Call will automatically hang up after ringing call timeout seconds.

Billing Type

Select the billing type, if one time than the subscription will be assigned one time than terminate and if recurring is select than the subscription will renew as the billing days is defined.

Billing Days

Billing days for the subscription.

Concurrent Calls

Its define how many calls are running on the same time.


After the DID create, Please add conference in forwarding destination as per below screenshot.

In the below screenshot, You can see the conference added in forwarding destination for DID-1234567890



Next, access the DID-assigned customer and proceed to register their SIP device in a separate softphone application.



Jones and Kelvin will both dial the same DID-123456789 associated with this account. Upon dialing, they will receive a welcome message, followed by a prompt requesting their PIN. They will both use the pre-assigned PIN number (12345) that was added to the conference during its creation. After entering the PIN, they will be able to communicate with each other. Similarly, Alice can also join the conference call with Jones and Kelvin.
