A conference call refers to a communication session where multiple participants join a single call.
Purpose
The purpose of conference calls is to enable efficient communication and collaboration among individuals or groups, regardless of their physical locations. Many businesses and individuals use conference calling solutions to facilitate remote collaboration, reduce communication costs, and enhance overall communication efficiency.
Where to find a conference?
Menu Location : Inbound → Conference
Fields | Description |
Name | Set conference unique name |
Greeting | Select conference welcome greeting . Under the inbound menu the prompt, you can add a greeting by adding a .wav file. |
Pin Number | Set conference pin number for security .This pin will use while you join the conference. |

Account | Select the account for which you want to assign. It can be either the admin or reseller |
Reseller | Select approprite account wether it is Admin on Resellser account |
Type | Select Manual or Schedule . Schedule : You can set the time and date for conference |
Contact Group | Create contact group under the Inbound menu and add it here |
Reminder | It is use to send reminder for conference |
Status | Set conference status |

Create a contact group for the conference by adding the appropriate filed as mentioned in the below screenshot.
Prompt (Greeting)
Menu Location : Inbound →Prompt
You can generate the greetings that will be used during the conference.
Admin can create DIDs manually from the admin panel with the respective fields and those DIDs resellers or customers can add it to their account.

Grace Time (Sec.) | Define seconds will be free from the call duration for each call |

Setup Fee | Setup fee for theDID. |

Call Timeout (Sec.) | Call will automatically hang up after ringing call timeout seconds. |
Billing Type | Select the billing type, if one time than the subscription will be assigned one time than terminate and if recurring is select than the subscription will renew as the billing days is defined. |
Billing Days | Billing days for the subscription. |
Concurrent Calls | Its define how many calls are running on the same time. |
Next, access the DID-assigned customer and proceed to register their SIP device in a separate softphone application.
Jones and Kelvin will both dial the same DID-123456789 associated with this account. Upon dialling, they will receive a welcome message, followed by a prompt requesting their PIN. They will both use the pre-assigned PIN number (12345) that was added to the conference during its creation. After entering the PIN, they will be able to communicate with each other. Similarly, Alice can also join the conference call with Jones and Kelvin.
