About
Ring group allows incoming calls to be distributed to multiple phones or extensions simultaneously or in a specific order until one of the phones answers the call. Ring groups are often used to ensure that calls are answered promptly and to distribute the call load among multiple employees or team members.
Where to find Ring Groups?
Ring Groups are available for Admin, Sub admin, customer and reseller. Admin/Sub Admin/Reseller can create and setup Ring group for their customer and Customer can create and setup ring group for them self from their customer portal.

Adding a Ring Group

CID Name Prefix | Set CID name prefix to append in original caller id name and it will display to ringing extensions. Example Original caller id name is John and you set ABC_ as CID Name Prefix then it display ABC_John to ringing extensions |
CID Number Prefix | Set CID number prefix to append in original caller id number and it will display to ringing extensions. Example Original caller id number is 91273982181 and you set 007_ as CID Number Prefix then it display 007_91273982181 to ringing extensions |

What is needed to setup a Ring Group?
To establish call forwarding for a specific customer using a ring group, we require DID numbers that are associated with the account for which the ring group has been created. Now the ring group can be added to a desire account DID number.
Different ways to use Ring group in different pbx module:
User can use Ring group in IVR module.
User can use Ring group in Time condition module.
