While ASTPP offers advanced auto data replication for cluster setups, the manual database backup provides a straightforward method for safeguarding crucial data.
Purpose
The primary purpose of the Database Backup configuration is to empower administrators with the ability to create manual backups of the ASTPP database. This ensures the availability of a recent and restorable version of the database in case of unforeseen issues or system failures. Additionally, the feature supports the importation of previously exported data, offering a quick and efficient method to restore the platform to a functional state after encountering unexpected challenges.
How will it work?
Configuration → Database Backup
As depicted in the screenshot above, administrators can effortlessly initiate database backups, export/download the compressed backup file, and easily import backups from a previously downloaded compressed database backup, as illustrated in the subsequent screenshot.
