How Interconnect Code configure and work

Interconnect codes are codes or signals used to establish connections between different networks or telecommunications systems. Generally, Internconnect code is used when a user wishes to connect from one customer's SIP device to another customer's SIP device. Please follow below steps and find attached snap for reference.

Dashboard --> Accounts --> Customers --> Interconnect code

On top right side you will see "Create" button
It is important to provide all details such as the Interconnect Code, Reseller, and Customer account that you need to select, and the Status must be set to active.

Before dial SIP device number of B party, we need to add internconnect code as a prefix on front of SIP number.

For Ex: We have created Interconnect Code 8888
You need to add in SIP device first 8888 (number)

Note : After creating any Interconnect Code* it will be unique for particular customer.

In addition, we have a feature for setting the format of the Interconnect Code digit number to suit your preference

For Example, 2 digit / 4 digit etc....

Dashboard --> Configuration --> Settings

You may set any digit from 1 to 10 in the Interconnect Code section on the left side and save it.

 For example, if you set it to 4, then you will be able to generate a four-digit interconnect code.
