Roles-permission

  • Admin creates roles and permission for his resellers and customers.

Menu Location : Accounts →  Roles and permission

  • It means any resellers or customers can access particular ASTPP  features in the portal for which admin gives the permission.

  • Admin creates roles and customers permission for customers and assigns it to a customer account, one field can be assigned to many customers or admin can make different fields for different customers as per admin’s preference .

  • Also admin creates a particular field for resellers and can assign to a particular reseller account. Admin can assign one field to many reseller accounts, or can make a particular field for every reseller account. 

  •  Admin selects a particular type as per requirement. As shown in the below screenshot.


  • Here it shows the roles for customer accounts.




  • Here it shows the roles for reseller accounts.


  • Afterwards, admin will tick a particular feature from the following lists, shown above.

  • Then Admin needs to assign that particular field to a customer account or a reseller account. 

  • For customer accounts, in customer edit there is one field to add that roles and permission which was made by admin, as shown in the screenshot below.


  • While creating a reseller account also there is one field display in which the admin will select whichever role has to assign to that reseller account, as shown in the screenshot below.
